Yes. The fare will always be shown before you complete your booking.
How are fares calculated?
Fares are calculated based on the pickup location, destination and journey details entered when booking. The fare is shown before you confirm your booking so you know the price in advance.
How does payment work?
Payments in the Woodham Taxi app are handled securely using Stripe. This allows customers to pay quickly using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other supported payment methods shown during checkout.

When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once your payment has been successfully authorised and you receive a booking confirmation in the app. Confirmation may also be sent by SMS and/or email.
Will I receive updates after booking?
Yes. The app shows key booking updates so you can see when your journey is confirmed, dispatched, and when your driver is on the way.
Can I get a receipt with my booking?
Yes. Every booking made through the Woodham Taxi app automatically receives a receipt by email. The receipt provided is a VAT receipt for your records.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Changes and cancellations depend on the status of your booking. Full details are available in the app and in our Terms & Conditions.
Can I pre-book a journey in the app?
Yes. The app allows you to book journeys in advance, making it easier to plan local journeys and airport transfers.

Can I book airport transfers?
Yes. Woodham Taxi provides both local journeys and airport transfers. Airport journeys can be arranged in advance.

Are Woodham Taxi drivers licensed?
