Woodham Taxi Account Deletion
Effective date: 28 April 2026
1. Overview
You can request deletion of your Woodham Taxi customer account at any time.
You can do this through the Woodham Taxi customer app where the account deletion option is available, or by contacting us at info@woodhamtaxi.co.uk for account deletion support.
This page explains what account deletion means, what may be deleted, and what information Woodham Taxi may need to retain for legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, insurance, safety, dispute-handling or regulatory reasons.
2. Who This Applies To
This page applies to Woodham Taxi customer app accounts.
It does not automatically apply to driver, dispatch, staff, contractor, business partner or operator records, which may be handled under separate processes or notices where relevant.
3. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request account deletion by:
- using the account deletion option in the Woodham Taxi customer app
- emailing info@woodhamtaxi.co.uk if you need help with an account deletion request
If you email us, please include:
- your full name
- the email address linked to your Woodham Taxi customer account
- the phone number linked to your Woodham Taxi customer account, if applicable
- a clear statement that you want your Woodham Taxi customer account deleted
We may need to verify your identity before actioning your request.
4. Active Bookings, Payments and Support Issues
If you have an active, pending, scheduled, disputed or recently completed booking, account deletion may not immediately remove all booking-related records.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active or future booking unless the booking is also cancelled through the app, by contacting us, or by another confirmed cancellation route.
If you have an upcoming booking, payment issue, refund request, complaint, support case or dispute, please contact us before deleting your account so we can handle the booking and account request correctly.
5. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Deleting your account may remove or disable your Woodham Taxi customer app access and active customer profile.
It may also remove access to:
- saved account details
- saved addresses or preferences
- app booking history views
- in-app receipts
- account-based support features
- app notifications linked to your account
Where deletion is completed, your account will no longer be used as an active customer account.
6. If You Have Not Booked or Taken a Journey
If you have not booked, paid for, cancelled, disputed or taken a taxi journey with Woodham Taxi, your account and associated account data can usually be deleted without an extended retention period.
We may still need to retain limited technical, security, fraud-prevention, audit or system records for a short period where reasonably necessary.
7. If You Have Booked or Taken a Journey
If you have booked, paid for, cancelled, disputed or taken a journey with Woodham Taxi, you can still request deletion of your customer account.
However, some personal data connected with your bookings, journeys, payments, refunds, receipts, complaints, support history, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, insurance, safety, legal or regulatory obligations may need to be retained by Woodham Taxi.
This means:
- you can stop using the app and request deletion of your customer account at any time
- your active app account can usually be disabled or removed
- retained records will not continue to be used as an active customer account
- booking, payment, receipt, refund, complaint, audit or operational records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary
- retained data will be kept only for the relevant legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute-handling, fraud-prevention, safety, insurance or legal-claims purpose
- once the required retention period ends, retained personal data will be deleted, anonymised or securely archived where appropriate
8. Retention Period
If you have booked or taken a taxi journey with Woodham Taxi, we may retain the minimum necessary related records for up to 6 years where required or reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute-handling, fraud-prevention, payment, insurance or legal-claims purposes.
In limited cases, records may need to be kept for longer if required by law, a regulator, a court, law enforcement, an insurer, an ongoing dispute, an unresolved payment issue, or another lawful reason.
9. Payment Records
Woodham Taxi does not store full payment card details on its own systems.
Payments are handled by payment service providers. Even after your Woodham Taxi customer account is deleted, payment providers, banks, card issuers, wallet providers or other financial service providers may retain payment records under their own legal, regulatory, security and fraud-prevention obligations.
Woodham Taxi may retain payment-related references, receipt records, refund records, payment status records and audit records where required or reasonably necessary.
10. Data That May Be Retained
Depending on your account and booking history, retained records may include:
- booking references
- pickup and destination details
- journey dates and times
- fare and payment records
- refund, cancellation, no-show or dispute records
- receipts and accounting records
- complaint and support records
- safety or incident records
- fraud-prevention and security records
- operational audit records
- records required for tax, accounting, insurance, legal or regulatory reasons
We aim to retain only the minimum necessary information for the relevant purpose.
11. Data That May Be Deleted or Disabled
Depending on your account and booking history, deletion may include removing or disabling:
- your active customer app profile
- app login access
- saved addresses
- saved preferences
- non-essential account settings
- app notification settings
- non-essential customer profile information
- other account data that we no longer need to retain
12. Your Rights
You may have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to request erasure in some circumstances.
These rights are not absolute.
Woodham Taxi may refuse or limit deletion where we are required or permitted to retain information for legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, safety, insurance, regulatory, dispute-handling or legal-claims reasons.
You may also have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, restrict processing, object to certain processing, request portability in some circumstances, and withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

13. After Deletion
After your account has been deleted or disabled:
- you may no longer be able to sign in to the customer app using that account
- you may lose access to app booking history and saved details
- you may need to contact us directly for historic booking, receipt, refund or complaint queries
- creating a new account later may not restore previous app history
- retained records may remain in our operational, payment, accounting, support or legal systems where lawful and necessary
