Account Deletion

Woodham Taxi Account Deletion

If you would like to delete your Woodham Taxi customer account, you can do so in the app or by contacting us at info@woodhamtaxi.co.uk to request account deletion support.

What happens when you delete your account

If you have not booked or taken a taxi journey with Woodham Taxi, your account and associated account data can usually be deleted without any extended retention period, subject to any limited technical, security or fraud-prevention records we may need to keep for a short period.

If you have booked or taken a taxi journey with Woodham Taxi, you may still delete your account in the app at any time. However, some personal data connected to your bookings, journeys, payments, support history, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, insurance, legal or regulatory obligations may need to be retained by Woodham Taxi for up to 6 years and will not be deleted immediately.

This means:

- you can stop using the app and delete your account access at any time

- if you have no completed bookings and no other records we are required to keep, your account data can usually be deleted in full

- if you have booked or completed a journey, we may retain the minimum necessary related records for up to 6 years where required for legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute-handling, fraud-prevention or insurance purposes

- retained data will only be kept for those purposes and will not continue to be used as an active customer account

- once the required retention period ends, the retained data will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate

How to request deletion

You can:

- delete your account in the Woodham Taxi app

- email info@woodhamtaxi.co.uk if you need help with an account deletion request

Please include:

- your full name

- the email address and/or phone number linked to your account

- a clear statement that you want your account deleted

We may need to verify your identity before actioning your request.

Important

Deleting your account may remove access to booking history, saved details, receipts and other account features still available through the app.

Your rights

You may have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to request erasure in some circumstances. However, those rights are not absolute, and where Woodham Taxi is required to retain certain data for legal or regulatory reasons, that data may be kept for the required retention period.
