We are currently open for driver applications. Applicants should be prepared to complete the required licensing, DBS, medical, training, and assessment steps before starting work.

Driver onboarding guidance

Before starting, drivers will usually need:

  1. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
  2. A completed Green Penny classroom course.
  3. A Green Penny taxi driving assessment.
  4. A Medical D4.
  5. A Private Hire Vehicle Licence or Dual Licence application through Maldon District Council.
  6. Access to a suitable licensed private hire vehicle.

Licensing, DBS, medical, training, and vehicle requirements are handled by the relevant external providers and authorities. Applicants should check the latest requirements directly before applying.
